In the last 7 years of coaching competitive swimmers I have noticed ONE UNDENIABLE PATTERN:
Swimmers who sleep a little more every day, don't just become happier people.. They absolutely SMASH it during competition.
💥 Our own (17y) is a great example... - 200m IM: 2:05 -> 1:59 (national junior record)
- 200m Breaststroke: 2:17 -> 2:12
- Now got a D1 scholarship in the U.S. - sick bro!!
Aaaaaand there's more... join me in congratulating for getting signed with a D1 school as well. What a journey for her... from Macedonia (not your typical swimming country), through ups and downs, and now following her dream. Bravo!!! We know Roger Federer slept 10-12 hours every single day, and Leon Marchand snoozed for 11 hours before his 400m IM WR in Paris.
So the question is not whether more sleep is good for swimmers, the question is HOW do you fit it into a busy schedule?!
And that's why and I decided that we're gonna make tomorrow's Academy training "🛌How To Sleep More Even With A Packed Schedule" available to EVERYONE on Skool - parents AND swimmers are welcome. We want everyone there 👉 All you have to do is comment "SLEEP" and I'll DM you the link for the Sunday. It's at 7pm CET (6pm UK time). What are you waiting for? Comment below.
PS: The recording will only be available for Academy members. And we're rooting for everyone who's competing this weekend!! Let's go.
