Speartech harness and ECM location 67 Nova
Hello all,
I am looking for some guidance for installation for my ECM in relation to my wiring and would like maybe a guide how to approach the easiest way to complete this task. I have a wiring setup using the route 22 from American auto wire within the glovebox for easy access. I built a frame to hold the fuse box out of half inch square tubing and mounted it under the dash. This version 1.0 with the small block Chevy. I would like to build a similar frame to put next to or parallel to the fuse box for the ECM for easy access for LS1 version 2.0(drive by cable speartech 98-02) I will plum the spear tech wiring for the ECM through the hole of the firewall where the heater fan goes with the grommet provided. Plans are to use a Mojave electric heater if needed for defroster and AC once I get to this stage. The key here is to get the motor started and broken in and a tune to run the car during the break in process.
Any ideas or pitfalls to avoid when I am ready to take this on would be appreciated.
