“Phrasal verb” fun 🎉 “shut out"🚪🙉
Hey everyone! It’s Friday… and by the end of the week our brains are usually full of noise, stress, messages, meetings, and a million thoughts. Sometimes we just want to shut everything out and enjoy a little peace before the weekend begins. 😌 So today’s phrasal verb is "SHUT OUT". It's really useful one that can talk about both people and emotions. Let’s jump in! 🎉 Don’t forget to share your examples in the comments below 👇 🚪 1. to exclude someone Meaning: 👉keep someone out / not allow someone to be involved Examples: - They shut him out of the conversation. - I felt completely shut out of the decision. 🙉 2. to block something emotionally Meaning: 👉ignore something / refuse to think about it Examples: - She tried to shut out the noise and focus. - He shut out the negative comments. ❓ Your turn! 💬 When was the last time you shut something out to relax or focus? https://www.skool.com/lme/classroom/c7105c70?md=f7344607995d4e60b7d2459faa755a95
