What's behind you? I don't know! But LOOK at what is COMING up ahead!!! We must learn from past mistakes--do our best NOT to repeat them, right? But to LIVE in the past is folly. Be PRESENT now, be PRESCIENT about the future, and treat the past as a PRECIOUS lesson. Just my 2 cents to add on to your excellent post, @Theo Feitosa
Dad Joke explanation - 01/09/2026
Joke: How do birds learn how to fly? They just wing it. Why it’s funny: Figurative meaning: To wing it means to do something without planning — you improvise and hope for the best. Literal meaning: Birds actually use their wings to fly. So the joke works on two levels at the same time: Birds “wing it” because they’re improvising… and also because flying literally requires wings. That double meaning (wordplay) is what makes it funny

AMA classes are a HUGE pressure on our coaches because they have NO way to prepare for the members' questions! They have to WING IT! @Bruno Dart
Let me introduce my hometown's traditional food
My hometown is called Taizhou(泰州),a small city which located on the north bank of Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province. This city is famous for its morning tea culture. The varieties of morning tea are diverse, including crab paste buns, small steamed buns, shredded tofu, fish soup noodles, fish soup wonton, etc. Additionally, there is a complimentary pot of tea (oolong tea or green tea). Today, I went to a boat with my best friend for morning tea. We had small steamed buns, shredded tofu, Shao-Mai and fish soup wonton. While eating, we enjoyed the boats on the river and the beautiful scenery, chatting and having a wonderful weekend morning. If you come to Taizhou, please let me know. I will take you to enjoy the most traditional Taizhou cuisine.

My "dwarf"
Today I would like to introduce my dwarf. In May, he will turn two years old, and he is a cheeky little devil. And he has a long, long tongue 🤪Whenever we don’t pay attention, we have it in our face, on our hands, or somewhere else. And he loves to jump. He is like a yo-yo, and that’s his name: Yoyo. Formally, Yoyo vom Rurtal. But he is always called “the dwarf.” 😁🥰
