Feed Traffic
We have received comments that the feed feels heavily congested, difficult to get through as well as intimidating due to such high volume of posts. We’d ask that individual members limit their daily posts to 2 or 3, so that we don’t monopolize on the space and keep it inviting for new contributors, as well as make it easier to catch up on the feed for those who log in. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -Mods

Remembering Masoumeh Ebrahimi For her children. For her homeland.
Published by: Iranian Eternal Heroes Remembrance (IEHR) Commemorating: Masoumeh Ebrahimi Date of Remembrance: January 8, 2026 Location: Tehran, Tehran Province, Iran “My mother was beautiful.” A young girl repeats these words in between constant sobs, voice trembling, and tears running down her face. The older daughter keeps quiet, only watching with a glassy-eyed stare. It’s difficult to decide which is the hardest to witness, but perhaps the older sister’s silence speaks louder than any words can convey. This is the story of Masoumeh Ebrahimi, a forty-seven year old mother of two girls originally from Rasht, and living in Tehran, Iran. She was one of the women whose body was being kept in the women’s washing hall. Segregated. In secrecy. But before the dark turn of events and the despair, there was life, one she loved and lived to the fullest. In fact, January 8th—that same night that turned into a tragedy—was her daughter’s birthday. She had set aside her birthday cake and was planning to return home. They were to celebrate life, dance, and make wishes upon the birthday candles. But she never came back. Masoumeh was not only a devoted mother, but she was also devoted to her homeland and God. Her Instagram bio still reads “God is always by my side.” Her faith was pure and genuine, unlike the pious frauds who cloak themselves in religion while committing unspeakable atrocities, especially against women. And indeed, she was beautiful. What stood out most, however, were not merely her long black hair or the soft smile that reached her eyes, but the warmth and quiet conviction behind them. She knew exactly why she was heading out to protest that night, and it was not a decision she made lightly. It was for her children and their future. “Let us fulfill our duty to the homeland.” Her family joined the protests first, then she followed suit. In Fallah neighbourhood, District 17 of Tehran, people dispersed as security forces of the Islamic Republic began shooting at the crowd with military grade weapons, with complete impunity and unrestrained brutality. Masoumeh was on her way when two live bullets struck her, one piercing through her neck, the other through her hand as she raised it to cover her throat.

"Why I left the left"
For anyone who used to be a lefty but has since left that camp, what caused that change? What "redpilled" you/caused you to wake up and distance yourself from the left? My story is kind of funny. It was Lily Tino (the trans-identifying male influencer who would abuse waitstaff for misgendering him) claiming that Kurt Cobain was trans. I'm curious other people's stories. Where are you at on the political spectrum(s) now?
