Timing and Angles
Today, my training partner asked me how I manage to stay a step ahead during our moves (or something like that). I told him it’s all about timing and angles. People often tell me I’m very strong, but I believe it's not just raw strength—it's about being strategic with my positioning (angles).
For example, my lasso grip is difficult to break because I consistently adjust my hip position to maximize the effectiveness of my grip and to control my opponent's hand. This allows me to maintain my guard while also looking for the right moment to sweep.
