Hello there, A professor of sport and exercise science was doing a podcast on over 50s fitness and I was listening in.
All was sounding really good until the host asked him how much exercise per week the older person would need to do just for overall general health.
I think he said something like 2x per week resistance training at least 30 minutes long and 3x per week moderate intensity cardio at least 30 minutes each session.
I emailed in with a polite correction and It caught the eye of a journalist. She got in touch and wrote this piece for the paper.
