500 Chemicals Before Breakfast?
Did you know the average Woman puts on 500 different chemicals before she even leaves the house?
Yep — before you’ve had your morning coffee, your skin has already absorbed an entire cocktail of compounds you probably can’t even pronounce.
Think about your morning routine. -
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Then lotion, deodorant, maybe a spritz of perfume.
Makeup — foundation, mascara, lipstick, eye-liner, eye lash glue, nail glue, nail polish/remover.
Tampons, Pads, Feminine Deodorant Sprays, perfumed toilet paper.
Hair spray, hair dyes or styling gel.
Mouthwash, toothpaste.
Most of these product containers go into the garbage which impact the environment for current & future generations. Someone's Kids, grandkids and great, great grandkids.
By the time you grab your keys, you’ve used 12 to 15 products without thinking twice.
And each of those products?
They don’t just have one ingredient — they have 20, 30, sometimes 40 or more.
Add them up, and suddenly you’re wearing 400, 500 chemicals… every single day.
This isn't even including MANY of the chemicals in your Foods.
Here’s the kicker - many of these chemicals are linked to hormone disruption, weight gain, fertility issues, sleep and even mood problems.
And the cosmetic industry?
Ingredients banned in Europe are still sitting on North American shelves, ending up in our bodies — day after day, year after year.
It’s not one product that’s the problem, it’s the cumulative exposure.
Small swaps make a huge difference.
Switch your deodorant, body lotion, and shampoo to cleaner versions, and you can cut your daily chemical load by hundreds.
Your skin, your hormones, your future self will thank you.
2024 - Based on United Nations classifications (which typically include the U.S. and Canada, and exclude Mexico), the total fertility rate (TFR) in Northern America is about 1.6 births per woman—well below replacement level of 2.1
Canada’s TFR declined sharply as well, hitting a record low joining the group of regions in the World with the "lowest-low" fertility.
Statistics Canada—suggest the 2024 TFR remained steady at 1.26
A fertility rate below replacement doesn’t mean immediate collapse, but it sets up a slow-moving demographic shift: fewer children, more elderly, and more dependence on immigration to sustain population and economic stability.
FitnHealthy Tip - Here’s my challenge for you - the next time you reach for a product, flip it around and read the label.
If you can’t pronounce half the ingredients — it’s time to think twice.
How many can you check out or chuck out today? 🤣
