✝️ Good Friday isn’t just something we remember… it’s something we respond to.
Today represents the most brutal, sacrificial, and transformational moment in human history.
Jesus didn’t just die…
He was beaten, mocked, rejected, and crucified.
Not because He had to.
But because He chose to.
And too often, we reduce Good Friday to one word: salvation.
Yes—because of the cross, we are saved.
But if that’s where it stops… we’re missing the magnitude of it.
The cross wasn’t just about getting you into Heaven.
It was about transforming who you are before you get there.
Salvation gets you covered.
Sanctification calls you higher.
The same power that saved you…
is the same power available to change you.
To refine you.
To stretch you.
To confront the parts of you that don’t look like Christ.
Let’s be real—
A lot of people want the promise of the cross…
without the process that comes with it.
But following Jesus isn’t just about believing in Him.
It’s about becoming more like Him.
➡️ How you think
➡️ How you lead
➡️ How you respond under pressure
➡️ How you love people who don’t deserve it
That’s sanctification.
That’s the daily decision.
So today, don’t just acknowledge what Jesus did…
Ask yourself:
Am I becoming who He died for me to become?
Because the cross wasn’t the finish line…
It was the starting point.
Let’s not waste what He paid for.
