Today I'm grateful for embracing and celebrating this new decade of my life instead of fearing it, freaking out about it or finding fault with who I am as I enter it.
Pick Your Pain
A few years ago, a coach asked me a simple but piercing question: “What hurts worse—the pain of discipline or the pain of regret?” Experience has taught me the answer. And if we’re honest… you probably know it too. So here’s the real question ⬇️ If regret hurts more, why do you keep choosing it? Why allow the same pain to show up over and over again— in your health, your leadership, your calling? Discipline is uncomfortable once. Regret makes you relive the cost repeatedly. Pick your pain. But this time—choose the one that builds you. 💪

It's all about choosing our "hards" and remembering that if it's easier to do now, it will be harder and cost us more later. Being disciplined is very hard but it can become a habit if you put it into practice enough. A friend of mine always says "practice makes permanence" so we want to be practicing the hard things and letting them become second nature instead of chasing what's easier
The Collective Call is Tonight! Title: 168 Hour Reality Check
You all have spoken and the “fitness” pillar is where you’d like to spend some time. On tonight’s call, we’re breaking down the 168 hours we all get each week and showing you how to intentionally schedule fitness instead of leaving it to motivation or chance. This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters—on purpose. Come ready to evaluate your week, adjust your priorities, and walk away with a simple framework you can actually sustain. See you at 8pm EST If you’ve not yet joined The Collective, you can grab your seat at the table here: https://rousawndozier.kartra.com/checkout/FaithandMarketplace-Community

It's about discipline, not motivation.
Be the church and be the change
Happy Soulful Sunday FamBam! As we rest, relax and rejoice in this most beautiful day the Lord has made, I pray that we prepare our hearts and minds for the week ahead and I'd love to share my sermon notes from this morning to help us be the church and be the change we were called to be. Adulting: Growing Up In Christ What happens in Vegas... The culture in Las Vegas is very similar to the culture of Corinth when they were out of control and Paul kept sending them letters and teaching and correcting them. Paul doesn't want to take the church out of Corinth, he wants to take Corinth out of the church. We have the tendency to be a little more Corinthian than Christian these days. The gospel reshapes us IN OUR CULTURE 2 decisions that will help us grow up in Christ 1 Corinthians 1:1-9 NLT [1] This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Sosthenes. [2] I am writing to God’s church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours. [3] May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. [4] I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. [5] Through him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. [6] This confirms that what I told you about Christ is true. [7] Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. [8] He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. [9] God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Embrace the call of God in my life RIGHT WHERE I AM Just like Paul was called to be an apostle, we are called to be holy and sanctified. We may be called to do different things but we are all called to achieve the same goal which is to be followers of Christ, and fishers of men, to share the gospel and TO BE THE CHURCH! We need to stop asking God to CHANGE our SURROUNDINGS and start asking Him to CHANGE US! We have to be the change we wish to see in this fallen, broken world, not CONFORM to it.
⚠️ Counterfeit Confidence
We’re flipping the script on confidence—it’s not about what you do or have, but who you’re becoming. In just two minutes, let’s expose counterfeit confidence and embrace confidence rooted in who you are—especially in Christ.

I absolutely struggle with counterfeit confidence in many instances but I always try to remember that God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called and He will give me whatever I need in that moment, whether it's assistance, encouragement, guidance, etc from others or provision another way. It's obviously easier said than done, but the more we practice our faith and put this into action, our confidence will grow and propel us forward, knowing that God's got us will become second nature to our minds and souls
