Every day I write a list of "5 Things I Did to Grow My Business Today". . . and sometimes that list is hysterical to me.
Today's List:
✅ Scheduled a haircut
✅ Scheduled eye exam
✅ Subscribed to clothing subscription box
✅ Created scripts/prompts for networking
✅ Scheduled 2 networking events.
You would think these would be personal check off lists, but when you own a business - they really do intertwine.
I haven't been to a networking event in over a year - I'm nervous! 🤷♀️
So I had to break it down: "What is making me nervous?"
👉 Well, my appearance, my ability to get there on time without any anxiety , and not being prepared.
💪 Once I understood what was holding me back, I could create a plan to move forward.
Now I’m curious:
What is most likely to stop you from attending a networking event?
A. Not knowing what to say
B. Walking into a room where I don’t know anyone
C. Finding the time
D. Feeling uncomfortable or self-conscious
E. Something else entirely
Drop your letter below—or tell me a story about the first time you went to a networking event in a new town.
