What do you do when business punches you in the mouth?
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve had several conversations with clients who are in the middle of some tough seasons. -Lead counts are down. -Conversion ratios are down. -Employees are getting injured. And unexpected problems seem to keep coming. Here’s the reality: sometimes business is just hard. There are seasons when everything seems to click—and there are seasons when being a business owner means walking through some difficult situations and making even more difficult decisions. When you're in one of those seasons, you have to separate what you can control from what you can't. You may not be able to control the economy. You can't control every employee situation. You can't control every lead that comes through the door. But you can control how you respond. You can control your attitude. You can control your activity. You can control the decisions you make today. And whether the situation you're facing is your fault or completely outside of your control, you're still responsible for what happens next. Show up. Take action. Take care of business. Stay strong. Keep moving forward. 👊

I agree with Jason
Keep learning
One thing I can’t stress enough as a business owner is to never stop learning. I’m at a conference here in Tampa Bay right now. It’s in the same industry I’m already in, and I was blessed to win a bunch of awards while I’ve been here. But guess what? I’m still learning. I’m meeting other business coaches, hearing what they’re doing, getting new ideas, and finding things I can take back and use in my own business. No matter how long you’ve been in business or how successful you become, there is always something you can learn. Keep investing in yourself. Keep learning. Keep getting better.

You’re right as a business owner we do need to keep learning. I have several books lined up that I’m reading and researching material to move the business forward.
Genuinely Curious if anyone here has done this
I’m genuinely curious if anyone here who sees this has ever hired someone to drive them places so they can continue working? Uber or an assistant I’m finding myself wanting to continue communicating to people and plan for business growth an opportunity while driving. And I’m really wondering should that happen and if so, when should it happen for best ROI? Is there anyone here with experience on that? There’s so much more time that could be put in if it was while driving

I think of that all the time when I’m driving, it seems like my best thoughts come through and things I need to implement. And yes, I thought about getting a driver, but I haven’t done it yet and probably won’t.
What's actually holding your business back right now?
Not the textbook answer — the real one. For me, it's not leads or sales. It's crew capacity — I could book twice the work if I had the bodies to do it. That's my bottleneck this quarter. Everyone's got one. Cash flow, hiring, your own bandwidth, systems that don't scale, whatever. Drop yours below 👇 Curious how many of us are fighting the same fight.

People sometimes hold their own business back because they want to be the one run everything. One of the things I learned in business is you can’t do everything. You have to delegate task to other people with the expertise to do that task.
Burned out & energized?
After the weekend I was feeling burned out, wanting to quit everything, and low-key wanting to get a cold so I could lay in bed all day😄 Then yesterday I had my AI program session (I'm taking a 12 week program for my biz) and I got energized again. Yet I'm still exhausted...am I the only one that has experienced these opposite emotions simultaneously? Is this even possible?

I agree with you John, I would say all the time if I could just have my time back. But when you work and run a business. You will feel exhausted because you feel like you don’t have any time for yourself and you have all these things on your mind that you wanna do, but you don’t possibly see how you can do it without more time.
