September 26th, 2025: Reframing Challenge (for Thought Management Course)
Wayne Dyer: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." That’s the ultimate power of reframing. The same exact event can crush us or refine us. The difference isn’t in what happens - it’s in the thoughts we choose about what happens. Instead of “Why me?” I’m experimenting with “What can this teach me? Where is the growth hiding in this experience?” Pain is still real. Life is still challenging. That’s part of being human. Reframing doesn’t erase difficulty. Reframing helps you look from a different angle than the one that makes you a victim of your circumstances. This past year has been incredibly challenging on multiple levels (and exciting and growth-producing, too). Many times my brain ran the narrative: “I can’t do this. This will not work. I’m wasting my time.” Those thoughts created feelings of hopelessness and defeat. Which led to shutting down. Which led to delaying the process. So, practicing what I preach: I paused, took some cleansing breaths, and reframed... “Okay, Plan A didn’t work. What did I learn? What wants to emerge instead?” That single shift moved me into curiosity, which opened the door to problem-solving and creativity—and from there, new possibilities I never would have seen. Nothing changed externally. Internally though—my thoughts, my feelings, my focus—all shifted. That’s the magic of reframing. What’s a challenge in your life that might hold a different story than the one your brain is automatically running? How could you reframe it into an opportunity for growth or learning? You can’t always control what happens. But you can choose what it means.

Thought Management Post
Sept 22 (Monday): Thought→Reality Loop: The Choice Is Yours In the Facebook Group we are closing out September by rounding off our practice of thinking about thinking. This week isn’t just about noticing your thoughts. It’s about choosing them on purpose. Most people don’t realize this: Thoughts don’t just sit in your head. They kick off a whole chain reaction that shapes what you feel, how you act, and the results you see. The Chain Reaction: Thought → Emotion → Behavior → Outcome And this isn’t just a spiritual idea—science backs it. Bruce Lipton’s Epigenetics research shows that even your cells respond to the “tone” of your thoughts. Fear-based thoughts push your biology into defense mode. Safety and possibility thoughts move it into growth mode. Spotting Your Loops: Start noticing your automatic thought loops. Pick one result in your life (desired or not) and trace it back. What thought kicked it off? For me, one of my loops shows up in my work: My Ineffective Loop (Default Loop) • Thought: “I’ll never get everything done.” • Emotion: Stress and overwhelm. • Behavior: Scattered multitasking. • Outcome: Things half-finished, reinforcing the belief that I can’t keep up. The cool thing is: Change the thought and everything downstream shifts. My Effective Loop (Choice Loop) • Thought: “One thing at a time is enough.” • Emotion: Relief and focus. • Behavior: Tackling tasks one by one. • Outcome: Progress I can see, reinforcing the belief that I am capable. Your Turn: Where do you notice a loop? Maybe in confidence, health, procrastination, or relationships. Try writing out the four steps for both your default and your shift. Be gentle with yourself—it takes practice to form new habits.
