Control the Input, Trust the Outcome
I can’t control outcomes. I can only control my effort. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Tie it and rely upon Allah.” I do the work I show up consistently I give my best Then I let go. Attachment to results creates suffering. I focus on what I put in, not what I get out.

Is knowledge enough?🧠
“If you live in a time in which people are content with speech without action, and with knowledge without implementation, then know that you are in the worst of times among the worst of people.” Ibṭāl al-Ḥiyal: (1/34) I often see people seeking knowledge and never implementing it and they remind me of the reference to a donkey carrying books. Just as the deen is knowledge coupled with action, this is same concept we apply to life in this duniya to achieve self-mastery whilst striving towards success in the duniya & akhirah. If you're not seeing progress📈 it's most likely because YOU🫵🏼 didn't apply what you learnt🧠 The next time you attend or review a lesson. Note the Key Points ➡️ Points of Action (POA) Turn these lessons into actionable steps for them to truly benefit you. We're not a nation of accumulating knowledge and books. We're belong to a Ummah that took action🫡 What's the worse that can happen? You fail and learn from it.
Learn to Reset, Not Quit
The biggest skill you can develop is the ability to reset fast. Bad conversation? Move on? Bad day? Start fresh tomorrow. Missed workout? Hit it the next day. Poor decision? Learn and adjust. You can't control what happens to you, but you control how long you let it affect you.
Best mental reset I’ve learned:
If your mind is loud - Write. If your mind is empty - Read. If your mind is racing - Walk. If your mind is tired - Sleep. If your mind is sharp - Build. Most problems are just mismatched energy. Get the inputs right, the rest follows.
Sales + business
One thing I have learned while running my construction business is efficient sales. People who see you as a salesperson will always be hesitant to work with you. They hate to feel ‘sold’. This aligns very well with the Islamic principles of business. Oftentimes, salespeople have little technical knowledge and know only how to sell. They have little care for the customer and more care for the deposit / money in. If you are honest and sincere throughout your sales process, this reflects onto the customers attitude. This increases trust and confidence in you and your company / business. Make sure your work also reflects this and you will have a never ending stream of positive feedback and client testimonials - which will eventually lead to more clients. This is how you build a business full of Barakah and ensure your income is also full of Barakah! The Prophet (PBUH) was reported to have said - “May Allah have mercy on the man who is easy-going when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for payment.” (Sahih al-Bukhari) There is a beautiful video by Oumar Al Sharafa that speaks about the purpose of business in Islam. He mentions that the purpose of business is not to make money - but to fulfil Allah’s commands in business - That is the true success. Jazakh Allah Khair for reading.
