Day 1 was surprisingly civilized. A few hunger pangs showed up uninvited, whined for about 10 minutes, and left when I made it clear I wasn't answering the door.
Day 2? The pangs came back with attitude - apparently they don't appreciate being ghosted. Smothered them with iced coffee (two shots, mountain of ice, zero regrets) and that shut them right up.
Highlights:
• Crushed a full 2-hour beach walk while binging audiobooks this morning. Fasting legs? Still working.
• Hunger tried one more comeback tour in the afternoon, but I'm off coffee for the day so sparkling water with electrolytes got the bouncer job. Their still rumbling but I'm blatantly trying to ignore them.
The game plan now: sleep through the hard part, wake up on the home stretch, and coast to 72. My friends already think I'm nuts, so at least I'm staying on brand. 😄
See you on the other side! 💪

I love sharing my faith and story of recovery. How I live: first, I learn it, then I do it, then I teach it! With God all things are possible!
