No hoop dreams. Never played earlier in life but she wanted to learn how to hoop. She thinks basketball is fun so she joined a team and wanted to add some skills.
So she comes for one hour once a week and we work. Super basic stuff but the amount of progress we have made in 7 months is unbelievable. I'm proud to say she has a decent jumper now, inconsistent with the follow through but that's just reps.
It's great to push and help players try to make their dreams come true. But to train someone who is only doing it to LEARN and have FUN has been an awesome experience. It's improvement solely for the sake of wanting to improve. That's an attitude I really respect.
Anybody else training older folks?
Is this a new market? 🤔
