Instagram Update: You Can Now Link Inside Reels (with Edits)
Instagram quietly rolled out quite possibly one of the most useful new features this week!
You can now add clickable links inside your Reels when editing with Instagram’s Edits app.
Here’s what you need to know 👇
When you create or edit a Reel using Edits, you can now add a link directly inside the actual video that your audience can click on and be redirected to.
👉 Viewers don’t need to leave the Reel to take action
👉 Less steps for the audience to take action = higher conversions
👉 Your content can now guide people exactly where to go
This is especially powerful if your audience watches but doesn’t always read captions.
Here's how to use it:
  1. Open Edits
  2. Create or import your Reel
  3. Add a link sticker or link element
  4. Choose where it sits in the video
  5. Publish as normal
That’s it.
