Job Security Isn’t What It Used To Be (But That’s Not All Bad)
For most of our lives, job security meant loyalty. Work hard.Stay long enough.Retire safely. But the world shifted. Companies restructure.Technology replaces roles.Experience isn’t always protected the way it once was. And here’s the truth no one talks about: Security was never the building. It was always the skill. Your ability to:• Solve problems• Communicate clearly• Build relationships• Learn something new• Stay steady under pressure Those things didn’t disappear. They transfer. The online world doesn’t replace experience — it runs on it. Real security today isn’t a title. It’s adaptability + wisdom. And you already have both. Reflection: What skill have you developed over the years that people consistently thank you for? https://www.skool.com/second-act-income-collective-7144

What to do if you have few engaged members.
If you have less than 30 members, it's a bit of ghost town, and are having trouble getting things going, this is what I would do. (I did this for a community I ran, and it was very helpful) 1. Archive your community first (hear me out, we'll reopen it later) 2. Choose 3-5 communities you vibe with that are related to your focus area - engage authentically, connect, get on the leaderboard, have fun, take notes on onboarding and how the community is run 3. Get on lots of networking calls with people who could be allies, friends or future members 4. Ask them if it's okay to ask 1-2 research questions about an offer you're thinking about. "If there was a community that offered [xyz] and solved [abc] problem, would you join? Why/why not?" 5. Discuss, get feedback, tailor the offer, take notes on what people say. 6. Build a list of 100+ people who say they'd be interested. 7. Relaunch your community, and you can expect 50+ people to join if you've done it right. This way, you'll have a partially validated concept, and momentum. Momentum can save you months or even years of struggle. Time is a key factor in getting a community going. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭: having a community on your profile will change how other Skoolers interact with you. It's powerful to build connections and a reputation first before launching something. There are members of communities I'm friends with who, if they decided to launch a community, could easily attract 100 quality members in their first week because they've been building relationships and engaging authentically for a long time. Good luck Skooling! Hope this helps.

Why Dilution Matters More Than You Think
Peep this y’all! Essential oils are not gentle little fragrances. They are concentrated plant chemistry. One drop = pounds of plant material. That’s why dilution isn’t optional. It’s protective. General adult topical guideline: • 1% dilution = 1 drop EO per 1 tsp carrier oil (daily use) • 2% dilution = 2 drops per tsp (short-term support) Undiluted oils can cause: – skin sensitization – burning – long-term reactivity And once sensitized, your body may reject that oil forever. ( You don’t want that!) Dilution isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom. Your nervous system responds to scent just fine without flooding the skin.

Sunday Mindset
One thought I keep coming back to while building this community is that this chapter doesn’t need to be rushed. I’m finding that steady progress feels better than pressure. That mindset has helped me stay grounded as I learn and build at the same time. Reflection: What would it look like for you to move at a pace that feels right? For me it's prayer time in the morning. What is it for you? We all have different ways of grounding ourselves.
