Udate - Can Skool Be a Communication and Advertising Hub for a Town?
I have been active in my hometown of Stillwater, NY. As a YouTube video creator, I have covered the historical and local events for the past 8 years and placed them on YouTube as shown on the attached QR code. Now with Skool, I want to post them only on a new Skool community "StillwaterSkool". We're exploring a project to see if Skool can be used as a dynamic digital communication hub for the entire Stillwater community, and we need your questions and ideas to test the concept.
We've started designing a platform with three core features:
1. A Promo and welcome to our town with a visual tour.
2. A Paid "Local Merchant Spotlight" for businesses to easily post ads, promotions, and specials directly to residents.
3. A Free unified Community Calendar to post everything from local events, School sports to and resources of the Town
I know you can think bigger! What are the questions and your input to explore all the possibilities?
Can this be a way to gain a large number of members and income from the ads of the local businesses?
Please share your thoughts! I would love to hear your answers to these questions.
Consider joining and watching how this project develops as a prototype for your town or city.
Here is a sample of the introduction to the town's officers and even a possible song for the town.
