There’s one key difference between a real smile and a fake one, and it's not in the smile itself
it's in how it disappears.
🧠 A REAL Smile: This is a chemical reaction to a genuine emotion or memory.
Because it's real, it takes time to fade.
The warmth lingers and slowly withdraws from the face.
🤖 A FAKE Smile: This is just muscle control. There's no genuine emotion behind it.
Watch closely it doesn’t fade, it drops. One second it’s there, the next it's gone completely.
It’s one of the fastest ways to profile a situation and understand the people you’re communicating with.
You'll be astonished by what you see.
A good rule of thumb to follow is the 5 c`s
Change~ spotting shifts from someone’s baseline behaviour.
Context~ factoring in the environment or situation before making judgments.
Clusters ~ looking for groups of signals, not isolated gestures.
Culture ~ considering upbringing and background to avoid false assumptions.
Checklist~ the final step, where meaning is assigned only after the other filters are applied.
