Journaling through the winter months 🥶
If you’re like me, the extra cold and extra snowy winter is amping up your seasonal malaise. I wanted to offer two solutions that have been helping me:
  1. Keeping a journal where I can write down my feelings and work through whatever’s frustrating me, instead of loosing it upon my husband and friends! I write all my bad feelings first, but 9 times out of 10 by word 500 I’m in a calmer frame of mind and better able to see the good, or make a plan to change things.
  2. My journaling community! Everyone there is so warm and chatty. I love seeing what everyone is up to, learning about everyone’s different processes for journaling, and getting stationery recs — one member even recommended my new favorite pen. I love touching base with creative, warm hearted people in a group that isn’t about making money, changing myself, or pressure.
If this sounds like something you could use, come check out my group, Journaling with Kayleigh. You can try it out free for 7 days, and see if it helps you get through the winter blues.
