Do you know what kind of course you are building? ๐Ÿคฏ HINT: It's not the same thing as your topic!

A lot of overwhelm comes from trying to design a course without deciding what kind of course it is first.
When you skip this decision, you end up with:
  • A course that tries to do everything, and does nothing exceptionally well
  • Modules that feel random because the โ€œcontainerโ€ is unclear
  • A learner experience that is content-heavy but action-light
When you choose the right type of course and set clear parameters, your outline gets simpler, your lessons get tighter, and your student results improve because you have designed for the outcome from the start.
If you want guidance choosing the right type of course and setting the parameters so you stop rebuilding your outline, I'd love to invite you to the Premium tier of the Build Lab (includes the first two courses in Your Best Course Experience program). Premium pricing increases March 1, 2026.
If you are still deciding what to build, join Standard first for only $12 for the entire year!
