I am a Christian Army veteran, husband of 40 years, a dad to two beautiful daughters and a pappy to six amazing grandchildren, with formal training in security and preparedness. I’ve also stayed active in firearms proficiency through ongoing training and my membership in the IDPA. I currently help lead a security team at my church, and that’s where the vision for this community was born. I kept seeing the same need: good volunteers stepping up to serve, but without a clear, repeatable system they can follow and implement to keep their church safe.
That’s why I created Global Church Security Academy—to help churches of any size build a simple, repeatable safety program without confusion, guesswork, or relying on one person to carry the whole load.
This community helps:
✅ Pastors and church leaders who want a safer place to worship
✅ Church security/safety teams (volunteers or trained professionals)
✅ Greeters/ushers/kids ministry leaders who want better preparedness
✅ Churches that need structure, training, and documentation standards
What you get inside:
• A Sunday-ready safety system (walkthrough, briefing, roles, coverage plans)
• Done-for-you templates: SOPs, role cards, incident reports, AARs
• Scenario-based training packs you can run with your team
• A growing training library built specifically for churches
• Weekly live calls for training + Q&A + real-world problem-solving
• Guest speakers and experienced professionals brought in regularly to share proven tactics, lessons learned, and best practices for church environments
If you know someone responsible for safety at a church, please don’t keep this to yourself. One share could help a church get prepared before an incident happens.
