Update
Hey all. Thought id check in as its been a while, I done my fundraiser and raised £196.30 thank you for all the advice and help on all my knitted items I made =) im now working on my next charity making various knitted items again =)
More cup cosies ....
I had a random part of a ball of this yarn left and there was just enough to make 2 cup cosies/cozy's? Again it's an Aran weight yarn. The video I based mine on were you this one by Crafty Turtle. I did only 42 rows and 15 chains as I found that fitted lots of different sized mugs. https://youtu.be/tU_UQw3FPko?si=Y4Ei7j3UfKE703kb
I had to “pause for the cause!”
Purpose for my machine knitting, was to be able to efficiently make items for donations to Durham’s Maternal Stress Free Zone in Buffalo, NY. While looking for patterns, practicing stitches, etc. I became very disorganized which is not me. While in Buffalo, I finished creating my spreadsheet that would help me keep track of my yarn inventory and other information. All I had left to do, was fill in the information when I got home. I thought it would be easy to fill in the blanks because I take photos of everything I make and also I had a photo of all of the yarn I had on hand, or at least I thought I did. I knew I had made several items from the Red Heart (painted desert), but I had not taken any photos because I was working from the yarn that I had earmarked for an afghan I had been crocheting. The spreadsheet will always be a work in progress, at least it is now 40% complete. So, instead of knitting, I’ve done more organizing, including getting my steps in via my right arm by winding yarn. Some skeins have been left for the little ones to work on. I’ve labeled my boxes the 1) Brown Family, 2) Variegated Family, and 3) Kwanzaa Family with extras. I’m ready to knit again!
