Welcome to the CMK Community! I’m so glad you’re here. 💛🧶
You’ve joined at an exciting time — we’re making some updates to our membership structure starting Monday, and you can check out this post to see all the details of the changes: https://www.skool.com/circular-machine-knitting/an-important-and-exciting-update-about-our-membership-structure?p=576c292b In the meantime, here’s how to get started: 1️⃣ Head to the Classroom tab and watch the “Start Here” video. 2️⃣ Download any free patterns you’d like to keep before Monday (the pattern library will be moving into our paid tiers). 3️⃣ Grab the Beginner’s Course in the Classroom tab — it’s staying free and is the best place to build your foundation. 4️⃣ Visit the Community tab, introduce yourself, and start earning points toward fun digital rewards. Nothing is happening until Monday — just be sure to download any patterns you want before the transition. I also created this post specifically for our free members that gives more detail about how these changes affect you. https://www.skool.com/circular-machine-knitting/important-update-for-our-free-members?p=d47c2050 We’re so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to see what you create. 💛 — Kim

🧶✨ An Important (and Exciting) Update About Our Membership Structure ✨🧶
Four months ago, I started this community with a simple vision: To create the best Circular Machine Knitting community on Skool — a place where beginners felt safe, experienced knitters felt challenged, and no one had to learn alone. What I did not expect was how fast it would grow. In just four months, we’ve added: • Over 1500 members • Multiple courses • A growing pattern library 50+ Patterns • iCord training and projects • Business coaching • Crafting hours And here’s something I want to say honestly: As a newer community owner, part of building well is testing, observing what works, and refining as needed. That is wise leadership. Over the last few weeks I’ve been evaluating: • What people are actually using • Where there is overlap • Where there is confusion • How to simplify while increasing value One thing became very clear: There was significant crossover between the Premium and VIP plans. So much so that it made sense to simplify and restructure rather than keep two tiers that felt blurred. At the same time, I’ve been thinking deeply about accessibility. If someone wants to: • Improve their skills • Grow in confidence • Or even make money from their knitting The price of entry should not be the barrier. So beginning in March 2nd, we are introducing a simplified structure: 🧵 Standard (Free) • Circular Knitting Machine Beginner Course • iCord Beginner Course • Full access to the community feed for help, encouragement, and celebration 🧶 Premium ($1/month or $10/year) Everything in Standard plus: • Premium Pattern Library • A new CMK & iCord pattern every month • Yarn reviews• Member-created patterns 👑 VIP ($10/month or $99/year) • Complete pattern library • All classes and courses • Crafting Hours • Biweekly business training on how to make money from your knitting This structure is clearer. More affordable. More intentional. And built for long-term growth. I know there will be questions. You may be wondering: • How does this affect my current membership?

🛑 Please Do NOT Upgrade Your Membership Yet 🛑
I need everyone to pause for a moment. If you are currently a free or paid member — please do NOT upgrade your membership this week. I know some of you are eager to “lock things in,” but upgrading too early could actually cause you to lose a prorated credit that Skool would otherwise calculate for you. Here’s why: Prorated credits are automatically calculated by Skool based on your current billing cycle. If you switch plans too early or change from monthly to annual (or vice versa), that credit may not apply. I want you to get every dollar you are entitled to. Over the next few days, I will: • Share clear step-by-step instructions • Explain exactly WHEN to switch • Clarify who should move monthly to monthly • Clarify who should move annual to annual Nothing is happening overnight. This transition officially begins next Monday, and I will guide you through it carefully so you don’t miss credits or overpay. Thank you for your patience while we do this the right way. We are building this community with integrity — and that includes protecting you financially during changes like this. More instructions coming soon 💛 — Kim
