Small Umbilical Hernia - Surgery 04.13.2026
52-yr female. I work out 5-6 days a week. I’m lean and well-muscled. I want to accelerate healing as much as I can w/out impacting recovery and increasing recurrence risk.
They are going to do an open repair (direct incision with mesh) because I'm lean and have strong abdominals. The surgeon has observed faster recovery and fewer recurrences with this method.
Note - it's fat/fascia vs. intestinal protrusion.
Planning on: BPC/TB/KPV near stitches; Red light; Bio-regen from BLL;
Other suggestions?
Will need to order stuff, so there will be a few days' lag on what I can start.
Also, if anyone has experience with recovery and training timelines, I would love the information
Thank you!!!!
