Recorded a short 2nd session
I felt called to create another recording! A shortened but fun practice! Stretching, breathwork, and a meditation on gratitude. Something I am feeling a lot these days. Thank you for the support and breathing with me through the tech challenges. Enjoy the video. Reminder that the 30 day challenge starts tomorrow. See you on the mat, Dan

Welcome to The Calm AF Collective
I’m really glad you’re here. This community exists as a place to slow down, soften the body, and reconnect with your natural rhythm through stretching, breathwork, and meditation. There’s no need to perform or “do it right.” Simply showing up is enough. You’re welcome to move at your own pace, take what serves you, and return here whenever you need a reset—physically, mentally, or emotionally. To help me get to know you, I’d love for you to introduce yourself below: • What brought you here? • Where in your body or life are you feeling the most tension—or the biggest need for calm? • What would you love to feel more of as a result of being here? Share as much or as little as feels comfortable. This is a supportive space, and we’re all here for the same reason—to feel a little more at home in our bodies. Welcome to the community. — Daniel

Maybe I missed this in the intro, but what is AF for?
Day 1 The “Why” (5 minute practice)
Good morning, and Happy Monday. As we begin our 30 day challenge, I want to shed a little more light on the daily posts you can expect here. Each day will have either question prompts, examples of new meditation techniques, or examples of others whom have traveled the path before us. These daily posts are ment to be engaged with, and explored through your own experience. We can celebrate, support, and encourage one another here. And so, let’s begin with a question, Why my friends? Why are we taking time to stretch our bodies? Why are we altering our breath, changing the balance of energies? Why are we sitting with our selves in a place where the mind makes every effort to distract us? I want us to ask ourselves every day before our practice, “why am I meditating today?” If you feel called, write your answer in a journal or record your answer on your phone. I want us to watch as the weeks progress, how the answers change. So, why are You, meditating today? Quote of the day: “The more regularly and the more deeply you meditate, the sooner you will find yourself acting always from a center of peace” -J. Donald Walters See you on the mat, Daniel
