Day 1 The âWhyâ (5 minute practice)
Good morning, and Happy Monday. As we begin our 30 day challenge, I want to shed a little more light on the daily posts you can expect here. Each day will have either question prompts, examples of new meditation techniques, or examples of others whom have traveled the path before us. These daily posts are ment to be engaged with, and explored through your own experience. We can celebrate, support, and encourage one another here. And so, letâs begin with a question, Why my friends? Why are we taking time to stretch our bodies? Why are we altering our breath, changing the balance of energies? Why are we sitting with our selves in a place where the mind makes every effort to distract us? I want us to ask ourselves every day before our practice, âwhy am I meditating today?â If you feel called, write your answer in a journal or record your answer on your phone. I want us to watch as the weeks progress, how the answers change. So, why are You, meditating today? Quote of the day: âThe more regularly and the more deeply you meditate, the sooner you will find yourself acting always from a center of peaceâ -J. Donald Walters See you on the mat, Daniel
