That’s a great questions. It’s to up to you, the practitioner. For some: It’s Calm As Flow Collective Or maybe Calm As Fluff Collective Or maybe Calm As Focus Collective. It can be what you need it to be each day you practice.
Day 1 The “Why” (5 minute practice)
Good morning, and Happy Monday. As we begin our 30 day challenge, I want to shed a little more light on the daily posts you can expect here. Each day will have either question prompts, examples of new meditation techniques, or examples of others whom have traveled the path before us. These daily posts are ment to be engaged with, and explored through your own experience. We can celebrate, support, and encourage one another here. And so, let’s begin with a question, Why my friends? Why are we taking time to stretch our bodies? Why are we altering our breath, changing the balance of energies? Why are we sitting with our selves in a place where the mind makes every effort to distract us? I want us to ask ourselves every day before our practice, “why am I meditating today?” If you feel called, write your answer in a journal or record your answer on your phone. I want us to watch as the weeks progress, how the answers change. So, why are You, meditating today? @Leigh Ann Viche I know what you mean. I find myself there too. And how can we not. So much of life requires things to get done, for boxes to get checked and for new goals to be added to the list. I find that same challenge. I hope you are able to find the slow down today in your practice, and maybe in the moments after. Thank you for showing up, Daniel.

Sunday Jan. 11th Live
We had some technical challenges with this one. The video recording can not be uploaded from Zoom onto the Skool Platform. For next week we are going to try YouTube Live. This should have a number of benefits including having it saved for long term usability and also should allow for a better quality video. My apologies that this video and practice got forced short and also the uploading is not working. Week 2 growing pains! Each week is a learning experience and will only improve from here. I felt called to create another recording! A shortened but fun practice! Stretching, breathwork, and a meditation on gratitude. Something I am feeling a lot these days. Looking forward to starting this practice with you, for you and also for myself. I have found tremendous benefit from regular stretching, breath work and meditation practices. Today’s event will be a great fit if: -You feel anxious at any point during the day -Your body experiences aches and pains -You haven’t been sleeping well -You experience energy drops mid afternoon -You have trouble focusing We will approach today’s practice with the beginners mindset and meet our body’s where they are.
