How can I follow my values?
Hi guys, how are you? Sorry to bother you.
I've been following Dan for a while now, and I love his concept of integrity.
I didn't understand just one thing, when he says to follow, for example values like honesty, I get a little confused.
For me, being one thing can mean one thing, for you another, and for 10 other people another.
How can I follow my integrity when a value can be highly abstract and not very objective?
And even when I connect with people with values similar to mine, most likely if we connect, our values are similar but they will never be the same, because just one value for me can mean one thing, for you another.
So the question that comes spontaneously to me is
Do I have to find my definition of each value and base my actions on those to be as complete as possible?
And how do I know if they are right for me?
(And if I haven't found them yet I can take an example from people I admire as Dan often says)
