Fight - Red Tobacco vs Wild and Tobacco
@Thomas Chavez and I decided to each do a head to head of Red Tobacco vs Wild and Tobacco. Neither one of us have seen the other's battle review, we are posting these at the same time: Here is the link to his post: https://www.skool.com/bos/fight-red-tobacco-vs-wild-and-tobacco?p=fd172467 Opening - both open up in the same vein. cinnamon, wood, apple, saffron. Red Tobacco is a bit brighter with the saffron playing a slightly bigger role. Wild and Tobacco is a bit more earthy, more nutmeg and early presence of patchouli. Smelling Wild and Tobacco really reminds me of being in a gardening center at a hardware store, it's not a bad thing by any means, I enjoy it. maybe the earthy that it reminds me of the aromatics of the fresh soil from the plants, bags of soil, etc Could be the Patchouli being more present than the Saffron in Red Tobacco Going into the mid - These 2 scooch a little bit closer together. Wild and Tobacco is still a bit warmer and drops the apple and pear and maintains that little bit of that earthiness. Patchouli in Red Tobacco start to makes itself known and is picking up a bit of that gardening center. About 15 min in, on both I am starting to pickup the tobacco and vanilla. Dry down - I think they got tired of people mixing them up, so now they start to scooch farther apart on the same couch. Performance on Wild and Tobacco starts to fade. Wild and Tobacco picks up a little amber and barely any vetiver. Red Tobacco, the vanilla, amber, tobacco start to step up. Soft sandalwood and Musk are also noticeable. I enjoy them both, but now I know why I always went heavy with Wild and Tobacco, you want the scent but not spend the money, go Wild and Tobacco, no disappointment there. Final thoughts - Wild and Tobacco was one of my favorites for a long time, I was perfectly happy and content until Tommy sent me a sample of the OG, now its ruined, just kidding but seriously its ruined. I will still wear the heck out of my Wild and Tobacco until i find a good deal on Red Tobacco, which I am now looking for, before I was just gonna wait till Wild and Tobacco was out.
