Kicking off my first of many reviews from the fragrance sampler. Polo 67 makes a strong opening impression with bright citrus and juicy pineapple up top before settling into an aromatic, slightly woody heart that feels clean, classic, and unmistakably Polo. As it dries down, the sage, vetiver, and juniper add just enough depth to keep things interesting without ever weighing it down, while the sillage projects confidently enough to be noticed but not chase people out of the room. Longevity is solid at around six hours, and in that sweet spot in this mid-70’s weather today in San Antonio, TX. This one feels effortless—like the fragrance equivalent of rolling up your sleeves and saying, “Yeah, I’ve got this.” Polo 67 does share similarities with other fragrances, especially within the aromatic-citrus genre. It has a vibe that reminds many people of fresher, classic scents like Acqua di Gio or Dior Homme Cologne with its bright citrus and clean aromatic character, but with a more pronounced woody/earthy backbone thanks to vetiver and sage.
