Xerjoff - Ceylon
Now that we’re into November, I’m really enjoying being able to reach deeper into the darker side of the collection again.
Today that meant Ceylon from Xerjoff.
This one feels rich right from the start. There is a deep, slightly mysterious quality to it, but what I really enjoy is the contrast between the darker oud character and the sweeter honeyed warmth around it.
It feels luxurious. Warm. A little exotic. And definitely more substantial than the fragrances I was reaching for a couple of months ago.
This is one of those scents that makes me appreciate having a seasonal rotation.
In the middle of summer, I probably wouldn’t even think about wearing something like this.
But on a cool November morning? Completely different story. 😎
There is something really enjoyable about catching that warm, sweet, woody scent bubble around me throughout the day.
