SOTD: Oud Nude by Guerlain

Received this fragrance for valentines day and I simply love it. The opening is a subtle fruitiness which is coming from the Raspberry and a creaminess from the Almond. At 15 minutes the sweetness has settled significantly and I am starting to pick up some of the floral notes. Still getting some of the creaminess from the Almond. At 30 minutes I am getting a creamy Almond scent with some undertones of floral and some sweetness from the Vanilla. During the dry down I am picking up the woody notes but the are very subtle and soft and not overpowering like some Oud notes typ[ically are. This is such a well blended fragrance and it screams elegance.

Performance: Projection is fair. This is not a projection beast fragrance by any means. The scent bubble is about 18" for about 90 minutes. The sillage is a little better with the fragrance trailing about 2 feet for about 90 minutes as well. Longevity is a different story. On my skin the fragrance lasts about 6 to 7 hours with it becoming a skin scent after about 3.5 hours.

Layering Concept: I layered this with Cuir Beluga by Guerlain and the scent is simply devine.
