SOTD: Golden Dallah by Xerjoff

Good Sunday morning to the fragrance family. I am still not one hundred percent, but duty calls as I prepare to serve at church today. I am grateful and blessed for the strength and willingness to serve the One who created me and His people. Even when the body feels a little weak, the spirit remains willing, and for that I give thanks.

. His post a week or so ago made me curious enough to seek this one out. My scent of the day is Golden Dallah by Xerjoff. This is my first wear and first impression, and I must say it is beautifully complex, especially in the opening. This is definitely not for the faint of heart or a blind buy situation, but I find it outstanding. The fragrance comes across woody, earthy, and slightly animalic with just a hint of sweetness to round things out. Projection and sillage are moderate, creating a noticeable but controlled presence.

For now, I am giving this one an 8.25, and we will see how it progresses throughout the day.
