Good morning fragrance fam. I’m still enjoying this stretch of mild weather here in the city that is second to none — ChiCity, my city. Days like this just put a little extra gratitude in your step.

I realized recently that I’ve been pigeonholed into reaching for the same few fragrance houses, even though I’ve built a collection with plenty of variety. So today I decided to shop my own collection and pull something I haven’t worn in a while: DesirToxic by M. Micallef.

This fragrance really strikes multiple olfactory chords throughout the wear. It opens beautifully aromatic and spicy, then moves into a slightly sweet, green character, all resting on a subtle woody foundation. It feels dynamic without being overwhelming — just a well-composed fragrance experience from start to finish. I’m honestly over the moon that I chose this today. Right now, I’d give it a strong 9.2. The sillage is great, projection is great, and the longevity is exactly what you want it to be.
