SOTD - Club de Nuit Intense Man (UAE Day)

Hello people! Today I decided to reach out for one of my absolute favorite fragrances from the house of Armaf, and by what I've heard the best entry of the whole Club de Nuit Intense Man lineup, Armaf's CdN IM UAE Day Special Edition. This fragrance is amazing, the rough lemon note everyone dislikes about the original CdNIM is pretty toned down, and the overall composition of the fragrance is much more refined and way better rounded than the OG. The performance is great! It comes on an EDT concentration which provides an amazing projection and sillage as well as the longevity of an EDP (10+ hours easy) The note breakdown, as you'd expect of an Aventus dupe; A fresh citrusy opening with Bergamot, Lemon and a touch of pepper, a Smoky pineapple from the middle to dry down and a heavy cedarwood note during the drydown. Although there's no sandalwood listed on either Aventus or Club de Nuit Intense Man, I find it to be a pretty creamy fragrance, specially during the drydown, which is what made me absolutely love this very fragrance. My recommendation would be the same as many other reviewers, If you already have the original CdNIM EDT, maybe try this version out, if you've got the Parfum version, that's pretty much as good, and if you don't have any Club de Nuit Intense Man, and you're interested on getting a bottle, look after this version first. Ah and the price is right in the middle of the original EDT price and the Parfum while having the best of both worlds.
