Is feeling something Citrusy and bright today, even though it's a fully gray February date where I live. This one never disappoints so long as you enjoy the smell of grapefruit. For many many years I worked in the grocery industry and this is as close to what I remember grapefruit smelling like fresh out of the box in a produce cooler!
That alone would be enough, but it manages to my nose to maintain that Grapefruit brightness throughout the dry down to the mids giving off that Grapefruit lift for much longer than you might expect.
Tomato's it's not very sweet and I don't get a lot of the black currant but it's there. The Vetiver means that the fragrance is not too juicy. The way the grapefruit and vetiver interact can make the scent slightly linear, but it's also just a really strong performer and so at least for me and my experience with it. It takes 4 to 6 hours to even start to get into the deep mids/base strong skin notes fully 8 hours later adding a little bit of Woody sweetness.
This was and is my first full bottle of Parfums de Marley and I am stillglad it was this one. I know this is a summer freshie but still works on a gray February day.
