Parfum De Marly Les extraits first impressions

I came home today and saw that my new PDM samples had arrived. I opened them up and sprayed 2 sprays of each one on test strips to get a very quick first impression of them. I will do a full wearing of each one over the next 3 days and will write up a full review at a later date.

My initial favorite is Carios. My second favorite is Valero and then lastly is Eragon.

Quick comparison would be Valero reminds me of a niche take on Prada paradigme. Eragon reminds me of a lataffa Khamra or Angel Share boozy type of fragrance. Carios is the one that's harder for me to nail down. I really don't have anything that jumps out at me to compare it to. Maybe the closest would be like a niche take on Versace Eros flame mixed with PDM Haltane in a way.

I definitely can say that NONE are worth the $550 retail asking price to me, but will be much more attractive when they get to discounters in the $200-250 range.
