Opinions on Clones/Dupes?

I'd like a variety of opinions upon this controversial topic, for I understand coping out to buy cheaper alternatives isn't viewed as "pure" and can be interpretated as "cheap & tacky". However, obviously being cheaper would that worsen the ingredient/scent profile and or quality? Moreover, although not "ethical" by buying dupes of and from these well established perfume houses - is there much scrunity due to being able to replicate such $$$ scents for a mere fraction $.

As why would I fork out more money for the same/very similar scent, within the same size or maybe even bigger bottle...

Upon that note, if anyone has any dupe sites/databases that compare fragrances, that would be greatly appreciated as well, cheers 🙏.
