i'm back from my vacations in Italy with some new fragrances in my luggage:
the house of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in Florence, Italy was founded in 1221 and is therefore considered one of the oldest perfumeries in the world. some say it is the oldest perfumerie in the world. however as (one of) the worlds oldest perfumerie, it also sells the oldest perfume (as we know it in its present form): 'Acqua della Regina' from 1533!
i don't feel guilty that i'm not able to join 's challenge because i've planned to go there and by at least one fragrance and because i haven't bought a new perfume for two months, knowing that i'm able to avoid buying a new scent. anyways, beside of 'Acqua della Regina' i also bought 'Acqua di Sicilia' and 'Incenso'.
and if ever you find yourself in Florence, make sure you visit the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica Santa Maria Novella!
