New Scent Arrival: Maison Asrar X Cal Cologne III Thriller

Been a lot of hype around this one. It’s supposed to be a 1:1 of YSL’s 6 in their private line. While I can’t say I’ve smelled the original, this one is awesome on its own.

It starts with a dark, smoky, spicy opening that’s pretty loud for about 10-15 minutes. As it settles down, a creamy, sweet sandalwood accord takes over. If you like dark, mysterious, smoky sexiness, then this is good stuff! I’m a big fan. Unfortunately my wife is not, so this will be reserved for my enjoyment only.

I’ve gotten about 4-5 hours of solid projection and after about 6 hours it’s a skin scent. So, by no means is it beast mode, but at $40-$45 for 100 ml, that’s not an issue.
