A classic icon launched in 1992 that I was looking to add to my vintage collection out of nostalgia. I never had it before, but I had friends that used it as a signature scent during the 90’s. Obviously, it has been reformulated since then, and fans allege it has lost some depth and longevity. It’s compared with Pasha de Cartier. I compared them side by side on paper strips and Pasha opens spicier, while Safari seams more herbal/floral, but at the dried down, they become very similar. Safari, although might be more appealing to the mature crowd, it’s not dated (IMO) still feels contemporary in comparison with nowadays counterparts. My first impression was really good, I’m looking forward to give it a full wear.
