You've probably heard the argument:
"Lower growth hormone and IGF-1 levels lead to a longer life."
But is living longer the same thing as living better?
Growth hormone can improve recovery, body composition, energy, mobility, exercise capacity, and overall quality of life. The question is whether optimizing those factors helps people take better care of themselves and ultimately live longer as a result.
I think there's an important difference between lifespan and healthspan.
Living to 90 isn't nearly as appealing if the last 20 years are spent feeling weak, tired, and incapable.
So here's the debate:
Would you rather...
🔹 Live longer with lower quality of life?
🔹 Live slightly fewer years with a much higher quality of life?
🔹 Or do you think it's possible to optimize both?
