Women should never be told to stop/avoid hormone therapy based on age.
This keeps coming up on calls lately, so I wanted to repost this recent research review article from 2024 - see attached. Here's a nice highlight on its findings by a trusted name in the space, Dr Mary Claire Haver, which makes it easy to understand the importance of the findings: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DXAQQ2Ll-9U/ So, for anyone who was told by a medical provider that "it's too late because you're 10 years past menopause," or you "should stop HRT once you hit menopause"...they're wrong. Plain and simple. LOTS of data out to support that, as illustrated here. Please share this paper to anyone still offering this advice. Thank you! If you want more support with hormones, HRT or midlife wellness in general, I'm here for it. Check out my Masterclass or DM me and we can chat about the options. I'm here to support the best and highest outcomes for ALL women. ❤️

Ayurveda & peri/menopause: a 5000 yr old view
I really respect TCM and Ayurveda, so when I come across it modern contexts and women's health, I pay attention. Here's a brand new podcast from one of my personal "hormone heros" and experts in women's midlife health, Dr Carrie Jones, speaking with an Ayurvedic expert, Dr Shivani Gupta: https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/dr-shivani-gupta-what-is-inflammaging-how-ayurveda/id1813934931?i=1000761265380 "Ayurvedic medicine has a name for what happens to women in perimenopause and menopause. It's called Vata imbalance. This transition has always pushed women into a Vata state, and chronic low-grade inflammation is quietly driving most of the symptoms underneath it. Ayurveda also has very specific tools to address it based on your body type. One place to start is your evening routine. Something as simple as a warm bath or a gentle self-massage with a food-grade oil before bed can genuinely shift your nervous system out of overdrive. It sounds too easy. But the science backs it up."

Progestrone & Neurodivergence /Creams or Gels
Hi All 👋 Does anyone have any info / deep dive research on the safety of progestrone topically and vaginal creams / gels? I am having a issue with oral micronized progestrone that seems to related to neurodiversity. Estrogen is great, oral bio-identical progestrone makes me restless, is causing pretty severe brain fog, memory issues, fatigue, etc. The prescribing doctor insists that topical application is not safe and is ignoring the information I provided on neurodivergece and progestrone. From what I have discovered creams, gels or vaginally can potentially work better for neurodivergent individuals. Thank You https://conceivable.com/blogs/news/progesterone-intolerance-understanding-the-hidden-cause-behind-your-hormone-struggles https://seeherthrive.com/resources/women-hormones-and-neurodiversity-what-do-we-know
