My "All Your Love" attempt at using my looper
I've been trying to put the rhythm and lead parts together for this lesson using my loop pedal (Boss RC-5). I haven't been able to manage the transition between parts without a pause yet. As usual, it's all harder than I thought it would be, but I'm working on it. Here's where I am so far.

I Got You guitar part attempt
One of the local players around town was showing me how he played I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown in his band (no horn section). Essentially, he was doubling the bass line and also imitating the horns at times. Here's a minute of me attempting what he showed me. I think I'd call it a downtown shuffle... or what would you call it?

‘All Your Love’ intro off The Beano Album
Ben’s lesson last week. I’ll miss this week due to family stuff, but I really liked the lesson, and that Mayall/Clapton album is the real deal. So here’s a rough first try to a drum track. Not a feedback submission because there’s not that much to it, but if anybody else is trying this, let me know how it’s going and if this sounds on the right track?

Social call for anyone interested today/tonight
If anyone would like to join a Zoom call instead of the call that Ben had scheduled, I've set up a call for today at the same time (in just over an hour from now). Join us if you like and we can introduce ourselves, talk about guitars, speculate about the stories behind Ben's tattoos, etc.;) Here's the link to the Zoom call: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/7788748709?omn=84863266302 Hope to see you there! Cheers, Rob
I've built something for you...
Hey guys, I hope you're all well. So I've created a little something for you, completely free. You'll have access to this for life now. It's an interactive practice planner tool called The Woodshed, designed to help you track your practice, build the habit of practicing, and help you to stay focused & accountable. Bear in mind this is in its beta stage, so it's very early stages. It's very much a minimum viable product. I'd love to get your thoughts on it. Here's what I'd love to know: 1. Do you like it? If yes or no, why? 2. Is this something you feel like you would use? Again, why/why not? 3. Would you pay for it? If not, why not? 4. If yes, how much? 5. What features do you think are missing, if any? Are there any other valuable tools you would like that you would find useful to have as guitarists? Here's the link to the interactive practice planner tool - https://thewoodshed.static2.website/thewoodshed I'm excited to hear your thoughts.
