Not exactly like the lesson in the classroom by @Ben Johnsen I am having lots of fun with it though :) Just have to work on some turnarounds and anything else anyone can suggest. Thanks for watching

Hi all Like others on here I have seen Ben's short video's and really liked his teaching style which prompted me to check his youtube channel and join his community. I am 60 years old and from Buckinghamshire Mine is the classic guitar story i'm not the first and will not be the last playing cowboy chords a few riffs and getting no where. I took some lessons that opened up the fretboard and now I can honestly say I enjoy playing every day. I attended my first video chat today with some other members, fantastic ,looking forward to attending more. Great channel Ben

@Jeff Shuck Hello Jeff
A noodle. Knocking on Heavens Door.
Inspired by Paul’s progress towards pentatonic noodling here’s a noodle over diatonic chords. I think this is easier than playing over a dominant blues progression because harmonies come easier? They seem to for me at least. Easier to sound melodic. Anyway keeping it fairly simple I hope, using the Em scale….E natural minor I guess…..but resolving to the G notes where needed? It’s a good YouTube backing : Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door- Epic Backing Track in G ( Solo Friendly).

@Iain Brown Wow fantastic Iian, I never thought my playing could inspire something like that. You have give me the kick up the jacksie to jam along to backing tracks more. as @Rob Wilson said it had some great feeling to it. Once again Iian Thanks so much

Sorry sorry sorry I lied not intentionally but I have found a earlier video back in October 2025 playing with a backing track, roughly the same as the first video.
