Over the past two days at Fort Benning, I’ve had the privilege of working with 23 transitioning soldiers and spouses through the Boots to Business program—and I’ll tell you this…The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
It didn’t take long for this group to move beyond introductions and become a community—bold thinkers, idea builders, and mutual encouragers. From restaurants to agriculture (yes—mango and duck farms!) to apothecary ventures, their ideas were as diverse as their backgrounds—and just as powerful.
But what stood out most wasn’t just the ideas; it was their willingness to lean in, share openly, and truly maximize our two days together.
What I witnessed was more than a workshop—it was a masterclass in transition, both individually and collectively.
The future of entrepreneurship is in very good hands.
