🌟 Reflecting on an Amazing 2-Day "Boots-2-Business" Entrepreneurial Workshop at Kings Bay Navy Submarine Base! 🌟
I just wrapped up an incredible 2-day "Boots-2-Business" entrepreneurial workshop at Kings Bay Navy Submarine Base, and I couldn’t be more inspired by the amazing group of leaders I had the honor of working with. This workshop was filled with six incredibly engaged and passionate professionals—five from the Navy and one from the Marine Corps—each with a unique vision and drive to launch their own businesses. They are interested in starting businesses across a wide variety of fields, including the restaurant industry, temporary service contracting, CPA firms, and even mechanics! šŸš€ I was impressed by our one individual who hadn’t yet decided on what business to start. Despite being undecided, their contribution, insights, and perspectives added so much value to the entire team. The level of engagement, energy, and curiosity throughout both days was absolutely inspiring! I also noted their unwavering commitment to continue serving—not just in uniform, but through entrepreneurship. There is no doubt in my mind that these leaders are on their way to creating businesses that will positively impact their communities, their families, and the world. I’m beyond grateful that our paths crossed, and I’m excited to see what each of you will accomplish as you move forward on this entrepreneurial and life journey. Your legacy of service will continue, and I have no doubt you'll keep making an incredible difference. Here’s to your next chapter of service and success! I salute you all!!!

@Joseph Richardson Mama, there goes that man! šŸ‘€
Greetings
Hello everyone, My name is Jose Hermosillo, and I currently serve in the United States Navy as a Missile Technician (MT) on submarines. Alongside my military career, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Data Analytics with plans to earn my CPA and transition into the finance and accounting field. I had to opportunity to attend a two-day Boots to Business entrepreneurship course led by Dr. Joe Richardson. This experience strengthened my interest in long-term professional development and helped shape my goals as I begin preparing for life after active duty. I look forward to interacting with this community, learning from your experiences, and contributing wherever I can.
