As we come to the end of Q1, it’s been full-on for Grasshopper Property. And as CEO, this quarter has been a huge exercise in learning, resilience and personal growth.
I’ve moved through the imposter syndrome phase… the “how do we match last year’s success?” phase… the “are we going to find enough profitable deals?” phase…
And now I’m firmly in the “Clare, look at what’s actually live, be proud of what’s happening, and excited about what’s coming” phase.
On top of that, we’ve added some fantastic new relationships to our power team, which I’m incredibly grateful for.
Q2 has a lot to offer. Some of it continues the momentum we’ve already built, some of it is very much a “watch this space”.
As we set our Q2 goals, I’m focused on making sure the company’s goals are crystal clear and aligned with the expectations of our board and investors.
For me, being vulnerable isn’t a weakness. It’s a sign that you care deeply, that you’re ambitious to succeed, and that you don’t want to let others down. It’s the truest version of me and it’s me giving my all.
