Mixed week at Grasshopper Property 🦗 This week has been a real mix of highs, challenges, and opportunities. 🔎 We viewed an old ambulance station – loads of potential in the building itself, but the location and access would make an exit strategy very difficult. A reminder that great bricks and mortar aren’t enough if the fundamentals don’t stack. 📑 We’ve put an offer in on what could be a very exciting project. Early days, but it’s one we’re genuinely excited about. 📊 We’ve also been analysing another potential deal that needs more input from the team. It’s so valuable having different perspectives before making any big decisions. 🤝 The power of networking really showed up this week. Off the back of our last networking event, we’ve had referrals come through to members of our power team. If even one of those turns into something solid, it makes those events more than worthwhile. 🚶‍♂️ As we edge towards the end of March, I took some time while walking the Grasshopper Property mascot, Penny, to reflect on the week. We’ve got a challenge we’re working through at the moment, and we’ll share more on that soon including how we (hopefully!) turn it into an opportunity. 🍽️ I also had dinner with two very determined developers. I’m convinced that once they get going, they’re going to smash it. When your end goal is clear and you let it drive you, progress becomes inevitable and that’s exactly what they’re doing.
